Coming From Out of Town?

For those of you flying in from out of town, use the Baltimore (BWI) airport.  Havre de Grace is about a 45 minute drive from the airport.  There is also a train service (MARC and Amtrak) that will bring you to Aberdeen from BWI, which is ten minutes away from Havre de Grace, and a cab and finish the trip to Havre de Grace for you. We'll post good places for lodging when we get more concrete info about the location of our wedding.

In Havre de Grace there's plenty of fun things to do.  Here's a list of places to check out for a fun weekend:

Boating - The Lantern Queen is an old fashined paddle boat offering dinner and scenic cruises
Kayaking - at two public marinas
Hiking/Walking - Bayside promenade and the Susquehanna Greenway Trail
Shopping - There are plenty of places to eat and shop in the city of Havre de Grace, so feel free to explore!

For another fun time, try Maize Quest in New Park, PA.  Their website is http://www.mazefunpark.com/.  This is also a good time for orchard picking for the west coasters.  The property of Maize Quest has a great peach orchard at this time of year, so get a group together and head over.
